Terry, Go to the creek bank.  Take off your shoes.  Of course, with it being summer you may not be wearing any. Put the fishin' pole tween your big toe and the one next to it.  Lean against the tree. Pull your straw hat over your eyes and take a nap.  Just as soon as you doze off, you are guaranteed to get a bite.  Dee

Heck, Terry, I wouldn't do anything. Just lay around all weekend and enjoy the peace and quiet. When was the last time you did that?

Although, Dee's idea isn't a bad one.

Well, I spent the early morning fishing with the sunrise.  Caught 1 flounder but that's all I needed anyway.  Had that for Brunch.
Worked on the house most of the day (without a second opinion).
Then I warmed up ribs , sat on the poach with a bottle of whisky and listened to Shawn Mullins ,  Lynyrd Skynyrd and such till about 12:30...
Sunday I lounged on the porch with coffee and breakfast. Shot a couple squirrels with my new Henry .22 lever action ... Now that was fun. I used  Primer caps...They are so quiet through the rifle it didn't even scare the humming birds off.
Then I cut grass and fixed a few things around the property.  :o
My son came over later and Kerry got back home so I made a couple little pork roast and veggies for dinner...
All in all a real nice relaxing weekend...

Hope everyone else had a good one too....

Sounds like a perfect weekend - god for you. I've had my eye on a Henry for years... maybe someday.

Sounds like you are enjoying yourself. I would like one of those Henry Golden Boy rifles. I bought an old Winchester Model 1906 22 pump made in 1935. It looks brand new and it too pretty to shoot.
