ROOOLLL TIDE

Two Points:

1) Glad the game is only 4 quarters

2) From what I read, the bookies were set to make a fortune if BAMA won but didn't beat the  spread. The last TD made them not beat the spread.

Clemson has nothing to be ashamed about.  They played a great game.  Watson is the best quarterback in the country and I'm not sure I want to play him again in the Championship Game next year but I'm willing to take that chance.

Sunday, I watched the press conference with the two coaches and was so impressed with both Coach Saban and Coach Swinney in that they said winning was important but they believed their main thing is to build young men first.  By building young men, they will build football players who can win.  Coach Swinney is going to build a great program at Clemson. I think he will model it after BAMA as much as possible to include facilities and I think the school and the alumni will support him since they have sniffed the heady air of being at the elite level of playing for a national championship.

I really didn't have a dog in this fight, but if I did it would be Alabama because they had 9 players from Texas High Schools of which 7 came from Houston and surrounding areas. Clemson had zero. Congrats to the Tide and to Dee, Tommy, Ken, Terry, Jaxon, Gus, sparky, spuds, and all the Tide fans.
