Great kids. Keep it up and I don't have to cook anymore.

Kids have been way into watching master chef and really the kids audition.  Said they wanted to cook dinner tonight.  So daughter did the cutting and boy assembled the plates.  I supervised.  I like that job.
They did a great job and turned out delicious.

Great job! Keep training them - one day they may be better than a remote controlled grill :D...Then of course - they will move out and start their own family. Enjoy it while you can - life moves fast.

Back before Christmas I met a young man (about 11 or 12 years old).  He was in training with a chef friend of mine to prep him for the next round of Junior Chopped.  All I can say is that he shows all the confidence in the world.  The chef gave him some surprise products to incorporate into an appetizer, main course and dessert.  He killed it.  He is from a Greek restaurant family, so he has a good lineage to draw on.  He will be good.

That is wonderful! My kids have been cooking with me for several years. Not sure if it is making them better cooks, but it sure is fun! Enjoy it, too soon they will be gone. But, they will have a good boost from being in the kitchen with you - it's (as you know) much more than just recipes and chopping....

Great post!  I love it when kids show an interest in cooking.  My grandkids are mighty good at eating but seem to fall out when it's time to cook or clean up  ::)

I hope when I have kids they are helpful in this way.  I took interest, my sister did not
