Greeting from Sunny Florida
« Reply #-1 on: January 28, 2016, 04:13:53 PM »
As a newbie to the group, I wanted to say hey and tell you a little about myself.  As an old Indiana Agriculture teacher, I've been in Florida since 1981.  I love the heat, in more than one way.  I started cleaning and cooking pigs while teaching school but didn't get back to really tending fire again till about 4 years ago.  I compete in Florida in the FBA and in the KCBS,  under the name Barn Goddess BBQ, and also judge and recently completed training as a FBA Rep.   Whether it's a Rec Tec pellet cooker, Sweet Smoke Q Juice Can, Webers with a FireButler, Mack Daddy Stick Burner, Assassin, Stumps, gas, Pit Barrel Cooker and even an 18'  tank that will happily fit 4- 140 pound pigs, it's about, fire, flavor and something my honey doesn't understand.  I'm looking forward to many exchanges with you all and learning as much as I can.  Likewise, if I can help you, let me know. Stay warm, just made some leftover Brisket chili, so we are set here.

So, your the one on the Fire Butler videos, eh?
I've watched 'em a lot and now I'm using it.

I look forward to hearing more from you.  My primary cooker is the offset smoker.

and Welcome!
