Thanks Engine 21, Yes, you're right, it's the Kansas City Royal, thanks for the dates. My brother says it was actually 'too successful' last year...long lines everywhere, most of the vendors were selling food prepared days in advance (as compared to the former tradition of 'on site' BBQ sampling). He's hoping they get back on track this year and keep it a true BBQ event. It used to be an awesome event, but sometimes events (and/or people) become a victim of their own success.
