Worked hard but got a cook in
« Reply #-1 on: May 16, 2016, 08:44:52 AM »
As y'all know Kimmie and I have been working hard on the yard getting it ready for the BBQ shed :)

Well Sunday was no different, we shoveled dirt, weed wacked, sprayed Round up, cut the yard and dug the drain for the shed :o

BUT I still got a cook in  ;)  I cooked a pile of ribs, spuds and bacon wrapped hot dogs
Super Pig Plus is a mixture of Tee's Super Pig and Bad Byron's Butt rub
The Ribs were rubbed with CYM then I added my Super Pig Plus rub to them.

The Spuds were cut, washed so all the starch would be removed the I added butter and Chip & Dip by Penzey's  spices.   After they cooked for an hour I would brush the butter/chip & dip back on them and did this till they were finished

The hotdogs were wrapped in thick cut bacon and Super Pig Plus was added to them as well (After this picture was taken) was in a hurry ;)

Tommy, great looking grandbaby. I know that you are proud as you should be. Didn't you make some of those Hasselback spuds in Augusta a few years ago? I know somebody did and they were spectacular. The bacon wrapped dogs are right up my alley. Everything looks great.
