I sincerely hope my choice does not offend anyoneI would not worry about that at all.... We are really not-brand specific, or cooker type specific here. Everyone picks the tools that fit their needs and wants - and tries to find ways to make the most of them. That is just part of the fun.
Seriously - if a person wants to join us here - and they only cook on a hot rock by a campfire - and are wiling to show and tell us how/what they are doing...they are just as welcome as someone spending a gazillion dollars on the newest most technically sophisticated grill.
But I think you have made a great choice tho I am a bit jaded as a fellow MAK 2 Str owner....
