New to pellet grilling / smoking from Maryland
« Reply #-1 on: June 30, 2016, 02:04:50 PM »
Hi Everybody - Brian here from Ocean City MD, just 2 blocks from the beach, where everything rusts. 8)

I've been grilling and smoking for on various charcoal based cookers for about 15 years now. Gone but not forgotten are my Char-Griller horizontal smoker, my WSM, and most recently my Char-Griller Akorn "Big Red" kamado... all have moved on to new homes in the area. ("Hello boys, I miss you...")

Since picking up a new REC TEC Mini pellet grill, I'm here to learn more about pellet cooking.

Found my way here from Tom Horsman's excellent videos on YouTube, and received a nice welcome from Teesquare himself - thank you both!

Guess the first thing I should do is change my avatar since most folks don't actually use their own picture. I'm such a noob.

See you all later!

The reason most of us don't use our real faces in our avatars is that we are kinda on the homely side  ;)

Hey - watch it... I know a good honey wagon operator ( septic tank pumper to you un-familiar with the vernacular 8) )  in your area...and he might "accidentally" drain his tank on your yard.... ;) ;D
