Sam's Club KCBS in my town
« Reply #-1 on: July 23, 2016, 04:34:03 PM »
This has been going on for several years in my town. I try to go over and have a look around. Like to see what people are cooking with.

I think the number of teams was more than last year. Also, seem to be pulling in some better financed teams. Some really nice equipment.

One team was all BGE, saw several open range teams. I remember in years past a lot of WSM, not sure I saw one this year.

This camper being pulled by a Volvo semi truck was the most impressive. If you look close they integrated a smoker into one of the bump outs. It was an impressive rig.

That is a sweet set-up.  The Good Ones (Open Range) are competition smokers for the back yard  :)

Several very good teams in that group and the top 6 get to move on to the Sam's Club Regional in Madison Wi later in the year.
