it. I have been helping a sick Aunt out for the last year & a half besides my own two kids that have had some issues & I was just tired I was supposed to go join friends down near the water but my Aunt needed me..........So later in the day I went for a food fix instead;D

so I could get out of my funk.

Well I had to drive half an hour but it was worth it......fried clam strips brought me back to the happy side again along with double tarter & double sodas.

....

People can say what they want but sometimes food is the best medicine LOL

Sorry to hear about your aunt and I hope things get better. Kimmies dad is in bad shape said I know how you feel. Just glad you got some good food to get you back up and going

Glad to hear that you're feeling better and I don't know of anyone with any common sense at all that doesn't know that food is, very often, the best medicine ! !

I grew up in New York/New England so I like them both ways. Now when it comes to having Chowder it is NE first & RI second my dad growing up in NYC liked Manhattan I have not had that version in years.

"Outside New England, "clam strips", made of sliced parts of Atlantic surf clams, are more common."

Bottom line is the strips were good & fit my need that day.
