Prime Grade brisket $2.99/lb at Costco
« Reply #-1 on: September 08, 2016, 04:43:10 PM »
I was in a San Antonio Costco today and they had a lot of prime brisket for $2.99. One of the meat cutters told me they should be available at that price in any of the Texas stores but probably not in California.

I sure do wish Costco would sell whole packers here in GA and especially at that price!

Back in early August the Costco near me had the Prime briskets for $2.79 per pound.  They had some 12, 15, and 19 pounds ones.  The price only lasted a week and went back down $2.99 per pound.  Still a good deal and the quality, as is all the meat at Costco, is outstanding.

Man what a deal.  So far SamClub has kept Costco out of Savannah.
A little cash under corrupt officials table goes a long way.

Pretty sure my town may have done the same. We have a Sam's, but my preference is always Costco.

Until last week when the city council FINALLY approved the Costco application after about 5 years. The council wanted Costco to build a parking ramp, have a smaller store and kill the gas station. Costco gave them the finger.
I have been on my city to stop dragging their feet. I've been driving 25 minutes away to another Costco. Not too much longer.

I drive 62 miles to the Costco in San Antonio once a month. It's worth the trip. Never been a fan of Sam's.
