Salisbury Steak
« Reply #-1 on: September 20, 2016, 07:26:17 AM »

Yesterday I decided to make Salisbury steak although I should just say hamburger steak but in keeping with the idea of the dish we'll stick with Salisbury.

After seasoning the ground beef I seared the eight "steaks" on both sides.

The onions were browned and cooked down, mushrooms added and gravy made then steaks added back into the pan.

While that simmered to finish cooking I made a quick side salad. Mine.

Served with peas and carrots and mashed potatoes.

This was really quite good and we should have this more oftern

Mmmmmm........

. . . mmmmmmm . . . couldn't help but notice several spots on the meat and potatoes that were devoid of GRAVY.  An opportunity missed  ;D

Sure looks good to me.  I feel sorry for everyone who didn't have supper with you that day!
