A Bummer
« Reply #-1 on: October 06, 2016, 06:30:53 PM »
Five days before bow season opened up we has either a small tornado or severe straight line wind.
A number of big trees on the roads at LostArrow.
A large oak was broken about 20 feet up & smashed part of a cabin, but worse knocked down the power pole. Every ones refrigerator was a mess & the camp freezer arrgh
20 gallon jugs filled with cleaned fish . 40-50 lbs of sausage & 100 lbs of deer meat was a stinking mess :(
My little cabin ok except my deck table distroyed.
Butch actually had insurance on his cabin so a lot will be reimbursed.
Power still off & with temperatures in the 85-91 range bailing on hunting.

DANG! John...

I'm sorry to hear about that.  We had 70 mph straight line winds come thru here about 3 yr ago and really tore up our neighborhood.

I'm glad you're safe...
