We were feeding 10-12 opening night at LA
Blake supplied about 8 lbs of carefully cleaned hindquarter roast .
Roast pieces were oiled & browned on the gas grill ( works fine)
Put in 8 qt crockpot with 3 large onions. 1/8 cup Roast seasoning & stick butter for fat
Cooked for 4 hours high then turned down.
30 minutes before serving thickened with McCormick brown gravy mix , just before serving add 1 glass red wine (usually Big House Red box wine)
Served over noodles & with peas
