Also the Big Red Rib Glaze has a nice red holiday color  8)

http://jesspryles.com/big-red-glaze/

And it is excellent on ribs!
Family likes sticky ribs so I would like give this a shot but where do I find Big Red soda?

My wife picked ours up at the Naval Air Station Commissary in Jacksonville. I couldn't find any locally. You might check with Target since their website says in stores only.
Will check NAS next time I am in Jacksonville but I can't do Target.  Target don't want CCW's and they let men use the ladies bathroom.

Ribs have been the menu of choice for our Christmas dinners for several years now.  Since it is so busy around the house I just hang 'em in the PBC then give 'em a coat of whatever sauce I've got on hand when they come out.  Nobody ever complains!

I don't think the cream soda is the one you want but in a related note, I can't find Big Red soda anywhere around me! I guess they don't sell it in GA and I sure ain't paying $20.00 for a bottle of it!

I've seen people say get strawberry soda and put a little vanilla in it.

Good reason to do a run to Jacksonville, wine and dine and spend the night in a beach hotel.

Really? Egads! I can't for the life of me drink cream soda :P Never been a fan but I suppose if all I am doing is reducing it to make a sauce I could power through it, lol.

I wonder if Publix has it in Georgia? That's one place I didn't look.

Think of it as a strawberry cream soda. Some say to substitute strawberry soda with a little vanilla in it. You only need 1/2 cup of the syrup reduced from 20oz. Publix by me only carries the cans. You honestly don't get much flavor at all of the soda IMO, it's more for the sweetness and the bright red color that comes with the syrup.
