I am a SC Native living in Eastern NC for the past 22 years.  My parents and Uncle had houses on Lake Murry SC that we sent summers at.  My father had a PK Grill starting in 1960.  I have owned mostly Gas grills and Now have a TEC Gas grill.

Wanted to get back to real Grilling and thought about a Ceramic egg type grill, but as I researched them, I realized I really wanted something for indirect/slow cooking to complement the gas grill.

Just ordered a new PK Grill because Father knew best.

Looking for tips and help on how to get started again.

Welcome from the other side of the state (Charlotte).

There are several PK aficionados that are regulars here.  I'm sure that one or two of them will chime in shortly.

Welcome from Southern California.

My question for you is where is your Fathers PK Grill??????????????????

My father died in 91.  We sold the lake house in 2000.  I bet its still there and I wish I had it.

I went with the older model.  My son gets this one if I decide to upgrade.  Might take me a year or two to decide - LOL
