Colorado FNG
« Reply #-1 on: December 14, 2012, 11:11:57 PM »
Hello, This wonderful site was recommended to me by a couple fellers in the know. I have a Traeger lil Tex with a digi thermostat. I always wanted to BBQ without watching the fire so this came in handy and it's worked well for me.

I also do a lot of camping and use dutch ovens quite a bit.

Here to pick up some tips and try different recipes.  :P

Thanks all,

Pam, I'm sure we'll be chatting about some camp cooking. I explore colorado and utah offroad a lot in my land cruisers (old and new). We search ghost towns, old mines, ruins, petroglyphs, pictographs etc. I have an engine cooker and i'm hookin up my 1500w inverter to run a crock pot. It so nice to have warm lunch when your above treeline when it's a bit chilly.

I have 2 young kids and 2 german shorthairs along with my wife that keep me busy besides skiing, hiking, cycling, camping and whatever else can be done in the great outdoors!
