Wow when you wake up to a text 'Tragic news on our street yesterday"

6:00 am this morning my wife goes i can't open this text.  I said you must...It was from one of our neighbors from next door........A nice young couple had moved in three houses down a few months back they have two very young kids & the text said the husband age 40 suddenly died yesterday. Man I don't know how many times you hear stuff like this but each time it feels like the first time. What I found out is he was on a business trip had a meeting & did not show up for it. They went to his hotel & found him dead. I went next door to our neighbor age 90 to tell her the sad news & all we could both say is why?

During times like this you just grab your kids & wife & give them big hugs. You also tell yourself live everyday the fullest but we always don't. We still get mad at the little things that really don't matter.  I guess that is just life!

But, today time stands still on our little street. It is just a very sad day here in CT.

All I can do is keep praying for this family. Anyway sorry to post this here but I had to talk to friends. God bless you all & be well.

Whenever one of the "good guys" pass away whethte young or old, I remember a saying I read a while back. When a young mother lost her child to some disease, she asked why. The answer someone gave her was " Because God picks his best flowers first"

Thanks for all your support & prayers folks it means so much to me. Three more days until the funeral as he was in Seattle when he passed. So sad
