I've been using Big Steel Kegs but came across the Pit Barrel Smoker in discussion on another forum.  Researched it and purchased one last week.........this PBC does not dissapoint and turns out great food!  Contemplating another one.

They are an amazing, and simple ( to the point of confounding  ;D) cooker. best chicken I have EVER made. And - I have been accused of being singularly responsible for decimation of the chicken population.... ;)

Welcome from North Carolina.  I, too, am a PBC owner.  I am lagging behind in using mine.  Holidays, you know.  Now that they are over (I hope), I can get back to some more serious cooking on my PBC.
