Black Friday? Couldn't tell
« Reply #-1 on: November 23, 2018, 08:40:50 AM »
On the way into work (6AM) no stores were busy not even WalMart I mean no one was on the roads trying to beat the rush, only store that had a close to full lot was Academy Sports .

Very strange,  last year you couldn't see the store because of the traffic...

I guess on-line shopping is now the new normal?

For years I wondered why those super deals were only available to those crazy enough to brave long lines, cold weather, and limited store stock on black Friday.  To me it made so much more sense to go for the volume by offering that price online (or in store) for a longer period of time.  I guess the retailers finally started to see it my way.  For the past 4 years, I've bought dang near everything we give for Christmas online and not braved a single black Friday line.
