Welcome to LTBBQ! Yes, if it’s pellet smokers, you have found a great resource. Tell us a bit more about yourself...

Whatcha currently cooking on?

In your pellet grill research, what has grabbed your attention up to this point?

Are you looking for a pellet grill that can not only smoke but also grill?

Just curious :)

We bought the Camp Chef Pursuit portable pellet grill, but it came with a bad board or something that makes it cut off after a couple of minutes.  We talked to Camp Chef and have a warranty claim in.  Just waiting to hear back.  We haven't even been able to use it yet.  >:(  We are full time RVers, so don't have a lot of room for anything big.  The Pursuit seemed like the ideal unit for us for smoking and grilling.  Hoping to get it up and running soon!  We have always been charcoal grillers in the past, and have a small charcoal grill now on board our RV, but we missed the smoked meats we used to get from the old fashioned bullet smoker we had before we began full-timing.  Saw this forum and thought I'd jump in and read everything I can on pellet grills so we'll be ready when the Pursuit is fixed.

Nice! Full time RV’ing sure seems like an interesting lifestyle. Sometimes I wonder if I’d enjoy that in retirement. My guess is you’ll be in Arizona this winter?

Welcome from Alabama!
Thanks!  We lived in Alabama for over 40 years!  Just recently changed our domicile to Florida as we will probably settle here when we are no longer travelling full time.

Actually, we will be in Florida this year, but plan to try Arizona next year for a change.
