Cooking with wood is a basic drive
« Reply #-1 on: March 27, 2019, 04:24:03 PM »
Hi everyone

I am from Colorado and been cooking over wood since my boyhood. I've always loved to cook for my friends and family, especially over a grill or outdoors.

Recently I've added a pellet grill to my collection of cookers. It added the convenience of push button cooking with the benefit of an open wood flame.

I haven't left cooking over charcoal or cast iron, I just have another way to enjoy this hobby.

I'm looking forward to being active on this board!

Thanks!

Welcome from all of here in middle Georgia.

I, too, recently purchased a pelletizer after using an offset for years.  It was getting to be WORK trying to maintain the fire and such.

I'll be watching your "activity", sir.

Thank you everyone for the kind welcome!

I've been looking for the "thumbs up" button for each of the messages... perhaps we don't have one?

In any case, I will try to remember to take pictures and post.

In the meantime, I've been taking advantage of the beautiful weather by cleaning my gear. Wow.... the grates on the Mak are pretty dirty, and I've had it for only three weeks!

See you all around!
