Backyard Jack's BBQ October 12th
« Reply #-1 on: October 14, 2019, 12:48:57 PM »
My wife Bev and I went to Byron, Georgia this past weekend to meet up with Don (IR2DUM),
Dee Stafford, Jaxon and his wife Deb. We arrived just in time for Friday night dinner. Jaxon
fed us pork ribs, baked beans and some out of this world coleslaw. I didn't video anything on
Friday. On Saturday I smoked some beef ribs and Jaxon fixed baked potatoes. It was another
great time at Jaxon's and we can't wait until we visit again. Here is Saturday's video.

Thanks again Jack and Debbie for your hospitality!

The ribs were the star of the cookout!
Mike's choice of seasonings was excellent and they were smoked to perfection.

He has the largest selection of seasonings of anyone I know and he knows how to mix and match them to the food he's cooking.

The guy's a genius!

It was a lot of fun. All of us had a great time, great food, and great friendship. Thanks to Jack and Deb for hosting again. They go way beyond the call of duty to make this event enjoyable for us. This was our 14th cookout which started with a Gathering in Augusta in September of 2011. I have videos of every one of them, but this time I didn't take a moving picture or a still picture. Guess I'm getting lazy in my old age. Thanks, Mike, for doing a great video.

Sorry we missed this one.

Me, too.

Oh, never mind. I forgot I wasn't invited.

Turtle, you know that you have a standing invitation. Save up some flyer miles for next time and keep those flippers warmed up in case you have to swim it.

Please keep me in the loop - I don't want to miss a chance to taste your next dry-aged brisket.
