Ferguson's, the Hawaii recommendation, is a great (small) bar in downtown Honolulu but there's nothing really amazing about their Irish food selection. On the other hand, there's really no exceptional Irish food anywhere in Hawaii so I guess they deserve the nod as much as anyone else.

As an aside, one of the best parties I ever attended was John Ferguson's wake held at Murphy's, the best known Irish bar in the area (and about two blocks from Ferguson's). Shortly thereafter, (Don) Murphy and the owners of JJ Dolan's (yet another Irish bar a few blocks away but one that specializes in pizza) bought Ferguson's from John's widow, upgraded the build, and still run it.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion

The only Irish Pub that I know of around here closed a few years back so really don't have anywhere to go to get Irish food that I am aware of.

Shawn O'Donnell's  pub.  Their Irish stew is excellent.  Shepherds pie is fantastic.  Irish pudding is very good.  The Guinness stout is always good.  Specially after the 3rd one.

They got it right for New Mexico. Two Fools Tavern is one of my fave joints in Albuquerque. Awesome whisky selection too...

I haven't been to a real Irish place in many years.  When I was a road warrior I could find some, though.  One of the better ones was in Santa Monica, CA but I can't remember the name of it.  New York City and Chicago both have lots of them.  Anyone here from NC or SC know of a good one?  I'd like to try it.

Irish Rover in Louisville, KY was very good.  Had the Shanagarry Fish Cakes, excellent.  Lots of Irish Whiskeys and menu selections.
