how often should I clean the drum or inside chamber? lot of charred stuff on the bottom but drain hole is open. I've taken it out and gave it a good shake and little came out.

I have a pit boss 820 xl and every third cook I vacuum out the burn pot.

I've owned a propane SRG for years and have never cleaned it. Haven't had any problems with mine

I will from time to time wipe out the chamber and scrape the bottom just to remove the heavy stuff but I always re-season

Maybe ever third or forth cook depends on what I cook
