In 1960 the average dinner plate size was 9 inches in 2009 it went to 12 inches. Restaurants now use 13 inch plates.
I think there should be a 14 inch special Thanksgiving plate I still would go for seconds but with so many sides I could fill a plate with food including the roll without the food falling off.........
Yes I am a pig but I am also not crazy with all foods running into each other. ( A roll plate does solve the roll problem.)

The bigger the better I say, especially if eating makes you happy, we don't have a lot in this life to make us happy so we might as well indulge!
