[M]ost of all I love to use my UDS (ugly drum smoker) :D

Ya' know, some beautiful food comes outa' them ugly things.  I have a pretty smoker that sometimes makes ugly food.  I'm thinkin' that just because I can afford a calculator it doesn't make me a mathematician.

Welcome to this hangout.

Another welcome from MN, and another PBC owner. I look forward to hearing about and seeing your UDS cooks! I'm always looking to learn something new.

Cheers,

David

A Pit Barrel Cooker is a manufactured vertical drum smoker using a 30 gal. Barrel.
It uses hooks to hang the meat allowing more product to be cooked than lying on a grid.
It's preset to run slightly hotter (280-310 F) ( OK with me, I'm trending toward higher temps anyway.
Any cook on a UDS, a PBC , or WSM ( all variations of a theme ) should be easily transferable .
