Critical Mass

We may have reached critical mass on the forum!
Membership has almost doubled in the last 3 months.
Set records for page views , posts & topics.
The forums getting so busy that not only don't I have time to visit other forums , I'm having to choose which topics I read & ignore on our forum.
Growth is good but there will be growing pains, more diverse opinions, more mild disagreements.
Our moderators ( thank you Tim & Smoke for that thankless , but highly paid job) will have to show the wisdom of Solomon , but I have faith.
If I'm correct we will have fairly rapid growth over the next six months , should be interesting!

Funny that this topic popped back up.  I was just talking to Tim about how the tried and true method of clicking the "show unread posts since last visit" link is almost starting to result in too many posts for me to quickly scan if more than a few hours have went by since last check.

That is how I read the forum. If I can do it at least a couple of times a day I can usually keep up. If I take a few days off I can't catch up and just have to read the subject lines and read the ones that look interesting and then click "mark all read" when I am done. My wife doesn't understand why I need to check the forum so often.
