Huge hello from Northern California!
« Reply #-1 on: February 21, 2013, 06:57:21 PM »

Hay Everbody,

Some of you already know me and some of you don't, wanted to stop by and introduce myself.  My two main hobbies are cooking both indoors and outdoors, followed up with a hefty passion for photography.  As with many of us, I started cooking outside many years ago.  It wasn't until the late 90's that I was able to get in to real smoking, low and slow.  I had no friends, family or any acquaintance that I could learn the fine art of smoking from.  It was the internet that made it possible, mostly from a site bbqsearch dot com, not sure if it's still up and running.  In any case, it was then I began buying smokers and trying my luck at it.  For the most part I would have made any of you proud of what I produced.  Four or more years ago I became a certified KCBS judge and boy was that fun!  Last year I got laid off and money got tight, had to let my membership lapse.  So, I pretty much stick to my yard's grilling and smoking machines with camera in hand these days.

xo, Biggles
