Freebie Newbie and probably some other "bie's"
« Reply #-1 on: May 01, 2013, 06:39:02 PM »
After months of searching I found a decent condition grill on a Freecycle post and scooped up a Char-Broil 3 burner Quantum which led me to here (via a few other searches, a referral from a member and other stops). I am happy to be a part of the discussion, but will probably mostly learn at first. This is my first Char-Broil, I just recently got into gas grilling, but I will happily share with you my plights, experiences, noobie mistakes, and you are welcome to laugh at me. I have a couple of Pork Loins from a Wild Texas Hog I killed a year ago and some Dove Breasts I took in September on the grill right now. Will let you know how it goes!

I can't believe how hot this grill gets! I had to turn it to the lowest setting to get down to 300*

So, thanks for having me and feel free to send me any tips you can think of that a complete novice needs to know.

Thanks and God Bless!

Paul

Welcome Paul - Tommy (TMB) and Dee (DEE) are waiting to help with your grill in a forum board just for that grill.

And you will never know how happy THAT fact makes me!

Welcome from MN. You are gonna want to look for Dee (or Tommy) - these guys have forgotten more about CharBroil grills than most of will ever know! You need to ask Dee to share his library of pictures...

And let us know how things go - be sure to share your cooks and pictures. We all learn from each other.

Cheers,

David
