So if an average pig weighs about 260 pounds which produces about half that in cuts, we have 130 pounds times 28 pigs or 3640 pounds of cut pork. Divide that by 78 (average life expectancy for Americans) and you get 46.67 pounds of pork per year.
That's less than one pound per week. It would seem that I and many others on the forum are robbing our fellow countrymen of their share.
