howdy ya'll. well, the mrs and I finally found a little cabin up in the woods next our favorite lake. my wife took 2 weeks off and we've been cleaning, fence building, replacing the garage door and brush removal from around the property. we will be getting internet later on this week.
its nice. well, during my wife's vacation she had to go back to work for one day. guess what I did?
my wife called and asked what I was doing? i'm painting dear. just what you told me to do while you were gone. she starts laughing over the phone. she said, your fishing. how do you know dear? she said because she was up the bank standing next to my truck and asked if I had her poles down there? ahhhhh...... yes dear. she wasn't mad. she knew I wasn't going to paint when she was gone. I have a good wife.

I had a fishing buddy.
he was big and right next to me in a tree. not more then 100 ft away.
I caught a small fish and threw the fish back. the bald eagle swooped down and snatched the fish up. it was a sight to see. very cool.

ok, nice to finally get a place. a few more weeks of working on the cabin and back to fishing again.
