Just spent the last two hours of the day with someone that it starting to feel better and hasn't eaten in two days.
So far, my list of things to cook for her return day is:
Hot and spicy gumbo
Hamburger (really big and juicy) covered in coleslaw. Don’t forget the jerk season.
Oysters - we had three or four different ways they were going to get done.
I think I heard spicy chicken wings once or twice.
We looked for the best hot and spicy fried chicken in the greater Pensacola region. Anyone see a theme here?
We looked over the menu at three sisters and I think we settled on six or seven must haves.
She didn't like my comment about a bland diet for a couple of weeks.
Things are looking good.
