I also use the B & B pellets. They are a combination of oak and another wood like hickory, apple, or X. It is a 60/40 mixture of oak to whatever. A better source for me is 100 per cent oak pellets at Tractor Supply. They sell Ozark something or other that is good for both your pellet furnace and your pellet grill. Talked with them on the phone. No chemicals at all. The cost is $5.99 per 40 lb. bag. Live and learn. Ain't dead yet and they have been trying to get me for years to get me.

I don't have any of the bags to check since I store all my pellets in Kingsford Caddys. I did confirm this with Toby Foster who works in the BBQrs Delight shipping department. He said it's their pellets and they put them in the B&B branded bags for B&B to resell. The way I first found out about this was on the B&B website itself. They made a mistake and posted a picture of the BBQrs Delight Oak pellets instead of a picture of their bag. They have since updated their website. I used to order my BBQrs Delight online, but now buy the B&B ones at Academy. Really can't beat the same pellets for $9.99 for a 20lb bag. My Academy carries the Mesquite, Hickory and apple pellets.

I was really happy when I found out about it! Nothing beats saving money like that on pellets. Now I need to go to Lowe's and stock back up on some Kingsford charcoal.

this should last for a month or so.  I already went thru 40 lbs this week.

Price matching is not a benefit. Lower prices are. Wal-Mart will have a labor day sale on both Regular and High Octane charcoal (Kingsford versus Lump) before Labor Day. That's the one you should watch as well as Academy Sports.

By the way, here is a bag of the stuff at Tractor Supply.



They are $5.99 for 40 lbs. You can be as skeptical as you wish. Trust but verify. Call them. There is no difference except this is all oak.
