That's what you get when you design a connector by committee!

The only good thing about the new lightening connector for iPhone/iPad. No wrong way.

USB......frustratingly bad design.

Actually I never get it wrong...

As soon as I put it in, before I do anything, I realize I need to take it out and turn it around. Works every time.   ;D
Everyone is good at something....
I just happen to be a good bad example.

Agree - but why can't we have just 1 connector for everything? Ok, I KNOW why - but jeepers... :(

Yep...  and these two:
  • When I put a plastic sack of trash on the floor in the garage next to the wall, it never falls toward the wall - it always falls to the interior of the room, so I need to pick it up and turn ot 180 degrees
  • 120V polarized power plug.  At least 90% of the time I need to turn it over - old eyes can't see well so it is simply a 50-50% chance, and I nearly always get it wrong.  ;D

No problem - I put a drop of SWMBO's nail polish on the "top" side and get it right-side-up pretty close to half the time.

Very guilty of the polarized plug one...
