Wow, tee - that's quite a machine - have not seen one before.  That's a beautiful deck you got there and a dynamite view!

Looking forward to your review and pics of your cooks  ;)

Just checked on Amazon, and read a bit about it's ability to control temperature in 5-degree increments - looks like a solid unit.  It's even on sale!  ;)

Thank you all!

It has a nice combination of build quality, features and - good looks. And the price....I gotta say, I think that REC TEC has a winner ;)

The controller is famously accurate - and it is quite "fuel efficient. I burned it in for 32 2 hours @ 400F...and I can't tell that it has used more than a cup or so of pellets! REALLY....I filled the hopper completely ( It holds 40 lbs of pellets ;)) - and it hardly used any pellets. Amazing...

32 hours - seriously?  The savings in pellets alone would pay for the unit given enough time

lol, was thinking of what kind of story I could use to get my wife to lose her Traeger.  Still, 2 hours at that temperature with so few pellets is excellent.

Well...I think it was because sometimes I need more space than I have on on grill, and - the price and feature combination...and it looks really good too - made it an easy decision.

The light in the cooker, and the hopper that holds 40 lbs are just a couple of the things I like. It uses stainless  for the fire pot, the heat diffuser,  the drip pan and the grates. It will do 500F...and the pellet use is low... ;)
