Great purchase Tim! I was really impressed with the Rec Tec that
I cooked on at the Gathering. It was my second choice when I bought
the Grid Iron and so far no regrets there.

Very nice grill...saw it in action at the Gathering.

If I ever decide to do pellets, this will be the grill for me.
Looking forward to your posts.

I had a co-worker ready to pull the trigger on a rec-tec then he went and got a hernia and had to have a operation. He wants to pay off the Medical bill now.

Tee, the horns are on the right way  8) My brother has my Rec Tec and loves it. Tons of space and it just looks cool on the patio. One thing to watch for, if you have the hopper filled up to the top, and you go to move the unit and do to sharp of a turn, that bad boy will tip on ya.....it happened to me when I first got it assembled and filled it up and went to move it. Luckily I was in a position to stop it, cause she was goin over.............................

Congratulations for grabbing the bull by the horns................ 8)

I got the horns wrong? Seriously? ??? ???

They need to be pointing down.  One thing Texas Aggies and Oklahoma Sooners have in common is a distinct "backatcha" gesture which symbolizes our sentiments concerning the gang sign so frequently and idiotically poffered by fans of that little university in Baja Oklahoma where the mascot is edible and has been on several occasions captured by forces from the north and caused to be barbequed  ::)

You dawg, ya' beat me in getting a Rec-Tec.    Really like the way they cook and easy to clean + the 40 lbs of pellets ain't a bad idea either.

Looking forward to seeing you cook with that grill

Congrats Tee! One of the guys on my comp team got a Rec Tec earlier this year and I have to agree that it is one awesome cooker. Spot-on temp control, interior light, shut down cooling cycle, 40 lb. pellet capacity & cool looks, as well as a good price are all reasons to own one.

We have won some $$$ on it too. Nearly enough to pay for itself in comps this season.   8)
