A couple of new pizzas - indoor oven
« Reply #-1 on: November 27, 2013, 12:22:28 AM »
Weve started to par-bake all our crusts because that almost gives a grilled crust crispness.  We did four pizzas this evening, and a couple of those were new ones

Fresh ingredients - tomatoes from the store, and basil from the Aerogarden, which is now producing an abundance of the fresh herb

One of our standard favorites, nothing but fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, tomatoes, salt and pepper.  We also add a bit of feta for more salt goodness

Sun dried tomatoes, fresh diced tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella, feta roasted red peppers, and red pepper flakes

The basic tomato and mozzarella pie this time topped with kale instead of basil, which turned out crisp and salty - a perfect complement to the acid of the fresh tomato

Loving the tomato pies.  You'll have to hold the feta on mine though.

Nice pies pz! I'll take Billy's Feta ;)

My wife hates tomatoes so I really don't get to make any like that when she is here :'(

Love your approach, pz. The par-cook crust to keep it crispy and the simple ingredients. I'm a fan of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil and some olive oil, S&P. I am picking up a lot of good ideas from you. Thanks!
