I think your Latkes look quite good.  I could go for a couple right now.


It may surprise folks , that many cultures have a  potato "pancake" in their culinary arsenal.

Very true Tim, the Irish were not the only ethnic group kept afloat with potatoes! Just about every European region has some form of a potato dish resembling the latke.

What's really interesting is that potatoes aren't even native to Europe. It was one of the food items Columbus brought back with him from the Americas.
