Welcom from Alabama!

Hi TMB:

Thanks for the welcome.  Looks like you have some serious gear but I can't translate all the acronyms because, I am after all, a Newbie.  In a couple of months, I'll know exactly what it means!

Hello and welcome from NW Ohio...I have camped and cooked over an open fire for 35 years..love cooking outdoors.  Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

The joy of cooking a great meal on your campfire is indescribable. It takes you back to our Neanderthal roots in addition to amazing your friends.  Whose eye is that?

Cam
It's my left eye taken a few years ago..a selfie.  At the first gathering Jaxon nailed me..didn't believe it was mine..had to see for himself...geezz.  LOL  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Hi Pam:  That's a very intriguing photo.  You seem to be staring at me right out of the computer.  I'll have to remember to dress appropriately when I'm sitting here!

...  I have spent the better part of three decades exploring and camping in the mountains and deserts of California, Baja and Utah via my 4WD truck.

Your comment brought back fond old memories - did much the same in the early 1970s - 4x4-ing through Patton's old WWII proving grounds in the Borrego desert, explored the Dos Cabezas area just after hurricane Kathleen in '76, and loved  seeing the old trestles and tunnels of the San Diego and Arizona Eastern after they abandoned the line due to the extensive damage done by Kathleen.

Welcome, Cam  ;)
