You raw guys are sick ???

Can you imagine the first guy that cracked open an oyster and said, let me suck this down and see how it tastes.

Not much better for me than an ice cold raw oyster with some spicy cocktail sauce or just Tabasco. I know lot's of areas have their oysters but we are lucky enough around here to get those delicious Apalachicola oysters, at least when Atlanta is not flushing so much crap down the river to the bay.

The same way you feel about raw oysters is how I feel about peas :P

I love raw oysters with lime juice and Tapatio!

We also like to roast oysters in their own liqueur in the Big Easy or SRG.

Thanks for the tease. I need directions for this. I am from the Raw and Tabasco school.

Much the same as Raw as far a condiments.

First get some fresh oysters.

Wash and stack in the SRG or BE rack.

Preheat SRG/BE  and load with rack of oysters.  Remove when the oysters start to open usually about 20-25 minutes.

When done right we get oysters with liqueur like this.

We eat these just like we do raw oysters.
