Snow seen on the way to work
« Reply #-1 on: February 13, 2014, 10:29:41 AM »
Took me one hour to get to work instead of 20 mins.  But this is the snow that fell last night.    Bad thing is I left Kimmie at the house with 10 lbs of fresh Italian I was going to stuff this morning thinking I was not going to work :(

I did make breakfast sausage which she tore into without me :(:(:(

The last picture is a bush near the road well it's one the road and there is a yield sign in there somewhere ;)

I drive a Honda so it's like having 4 wheel drive.  Those old Accords do really well in snow, it's the other guy/gal you need to watch for.  They slam on the brakes thinking they will stop in time or at all  ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Had one lady pull out in front of me just to hit her brakes and turn rt.  DUMB A$$ is all I could think  >:( >:( >:( >:(

I know what you mean, several years ago we had a record snow fall where I live, 8" in a few hours.  I was across town at an appointment, on my Harley, when I came outside there was already 4" on the ground and on the bike.  That was one very interesting ride getting home on two wheels in the snow.   ???

Yep! She bought up a case of Bud Lite just in case she was snowed in ;)

I just hope the Italian sausage is still there when I get home :D   I know she ate up the breakfast sausage with my son

Pam, we would drive in mud like that all the time just to keep in practice (incase we ever got snow)  :D :D :D

You need to remember we start driving when our feet can touch the gas pedal, we ain't sure what the brake pedal is for other than turning lights on in the rear of the car  ;) :D :D :D :D :D

MUD= Snow in the south!

Not saying it's not wicked down there and I wish you all the best, but in Chicago when you spend 30 minutes digging out a car and it turns out not to be yours, that's when you know it was a snowy day  ;)
