Hi All,

Mostly, hi to all of my friends that have sent notes or asked about me over the past several months. I don't know how to say how much your thoughts meant to me. I have been knocked down and beat up... I really don't want to ask you to listen to what has happened.  However, I am so appreciative of your thoughts and well wishes, you can't imagine. Thank you!

I actually cooked something last night - it was a pork butt in my pressure cooker (no pictures - total unicorn!) But, it was tasty. Trying to find my way back. I hope and know you will be patient as I get back... I will probably do some lurking... but I will come back.

Again, thank you. All of you. Your support and messages have made a huge impact on my recovery.

David, I was thinking about you last night and wondering how you were doing.  Boy, it's great to hear from you. If I had had all my shots I could have come up there in cold country looking for you.
I just got me a copy of the "Lost Worlds of South America" course from the Great Courses.  Really looking forward to looking at al 24 hours or so of it.

Wow, I don't even know what to say. Pappy, I know you came by, I got the note. My dog IS big... but he is a kitty cat - that's what my girls call him... :) Paul, Gene, Tim, Smoke, thank you for your notes, Tommy and the rest too... I do not want to take you all through what has happened and where I am. But, your support and friendship means more than you probably will ever know. I mean that.
