Man, I hate to hear the crawfish crop will not be good this year. I am glad I was at least able to go to Crazy Cajun's and get a good batch a couple of weeks ago. I was looking forward to getting a big sack and having friends over. I guess it will be for shrimp.

That would be a bargain out here, the place we go to in Vegas charges $60 for a 5# platter.   They are flown in fresh from Louisiana and cooked the same day, they are good but we pay a premium for them.

John, that table full of mud bugs looks delicious. Is that a few links of boudain and some artichoke mixed in? You do know how to party.

Those look great!

I wish I could get them live for $2.25/lb. Our local supplier just went down to $3/75/lb. for live, & $6.49 for cooked.   ???

When I had my small boil, I paid $5.49/lb. for live. That's the difference in being close & being a few hundred miles away. I feel lucky that I found a supplier here that brings them in weekly.

Still, I want to do another crawfish boil before they go away for the year.
