Thanks to everyone for the compliments on the photos, it is appreciated

for anyone who is interested in trying the creamy cognac sauce, I have posted the recipe in the recipes/sauces section.... but to make it easier on everyone I included the link

I also liked the beignets at Cafe du Monde, though I got caught off guard and they were much larger and more filling than anticipated
