Cheers from San Francisco-don't call it "Frisco" ;-)
« Reply #-1 on: May 01, 2014, 08:47:54 PM »

Hello there,

I suspect that I'm in the minority here, being female and urban, and not even really looking for BBQ info.  I stumbled across this forum while looking for information on outdoor pizza ovens.  And that is why I asked to join, so that I could do more than read other members' comments.  I'd like to ask some questions.  So I will do some exploring about them, and make sure to post my queries in the right thread.

I'm sure I'll learn a lot that will help me with my decision about what to get.

Thanks,
Kris

Kris - you are in good company. We have folks from your area that are pizza oven addicts! :D.

And - tho our name is "Let's Talk BBQ" - you will find more than 2/3rds of the posts are about everything other than BBQ ;D. It is just that we have all grown up calling anything cooked outdoors, or the act of cooking outdoors.....BBQ.

Look thru the recipes sections - and you will see that we love all things cooked outdoors!

WELCOME!
BBQ is neither verb or noun. It is an experience.

Welcome from Southern California!

I have a little wood fired portable pizza oven that I love called Uuni. There are several posts of mine about this oven in the pizza oven section of the forum.

If you have any questions let me know.
