Welcome to the forum, from NE Ohio.

You came to the right place, because there is a group of folks here who are very knowledgeable about pizza ovens!

Hello from mid Alabama. I have a Camp Chef Italia Artisian pizza oven. It is just a simple oven designed to sit on top of the 3 burner Camp Chef gas range I keep sitting on the deck year around. That Camp Chef range is the most versatile cooking appliance I have and the pizza oven just extended it's capabilities.

Thanks for all the greetings, fellas! (I'm pretty sure the guys outnumber the gals by about 10 to 1 here...).  I've got my Blackstone 1575 coming today, finally, so after I get a chance to put it together (fingers crossed that goes smoothly), I'll post my results.

Have a great day-

Well, guys and gals,

I assembled the Blackstone last Saturday with some very welcome and useful help from my son.  The assembly was very easy, but it was wonderful to have someone stronger (and younger!) than I to do the heavy lifting. It did help that all of the pieces arrived intact and in perfect shape.

I invited a couple of friends to come over the next night to play guinea pigs to my virginal outdoor pizza cooking, and OMG, were the pizzas terrific!

They took about 3 minutes each to cook and the crusts were about the best part.  I've never been able to say that about any pizza I baked in my home oven.  Ever.  No matter what I did to try and make it the best it could be.

Those three pizzas on Sunday, and the one on Monday that I made for myself exceeded my wildest dreams for a first outdoor effort.  I'm in heaven.

After trying over half a dozen times to add photos I've given up.  I even joined and created a profile in Photobucket, have uploaded modified photos to keep them small enough, and can't get them from PB to here.  Sorry.  I'm at a loss and I'm no computer dummy or newbie...  ah, well.

Try these threads...maybe they will help. As well we have a "Posting Photos" section that you may want to visit - and even post questions, request help, etc.
