Red Neck Sous Vide
« Reply #-1 on: June 15, 2014, 12:53:04 PM »
Tim needed some help yesterday at the Transylvania County Market in Brevard to “warm up” some pre-cooked samples of meats and mushrooms and serve to attendees.  I was "volunteered"!  We served breakfast sausage bites, lamb meatballs, beef meatballs, brat bites, sautéed portobello mushrooms with a WOW compound butter that was added right at the end of the sauté, pulled pork, pulled beef, and two flavors of smoked chicken.  Tim also made a strawberry-rhubarb-jalapeno fishinging sauce for the various meatballs.  Really nice combination of flavors.  It would have been great on an English muffin.

Tim brought along his SRG, a suitable pan that fit inside the SRG and water.  All the basic ingredients for a “Red Neck Sous Vide”.

What would a Sous Vide post be without a picture of our “fearless leader”.

This was Tee's idea.  I just named it.  It seemed appropriate.

As far as the unicorn meat goes, Tee has pictures of the products.  Maybe he can get Dee to help him post them.
