Hello all!
 My name is Steve and I live in Big Lake MN for the summer months. I'm 63yo now and just learning the joys of BBQing. I found a link to your site on the CharBroil forum and here I am. I cook on CharBroil TBE and the SRG. I started with the TBE and thought it was the end all until I bought the SRG, The versatility of the SRG is wonderful because of the heat control. Two days ago I came up with a way to control the TBE also. I can vary the temp from 250 deg when out of the wind to 525 deg for cleaning. Normal factory temp. is 360 deg. I live alone so my neighbors are my taste testers. What can I say? I'm learning.

Welcome "older guy" ;) ..we have a few older guys on here and at  71 I guess I'm one of them. It was bad that the Charbriol  forum closed down, quite a few of us came from there. If you liked the CB forum you will love  this one, IT'S THE BEST.I do love my SRG, it's about the only thing I got left after a spring yard sale.
