Did you "flatten" those ribs?

Looks more like what we call bulgogi (thinly sliced sirloin or similar) than short ribs (galbi or kalbi - thinly sliced short ribs with bones) but delicious nonetheless. Both are staples around here.

I apoligize I should have noted that I purchased the short ribs in a package already sauced and cut, my bad.
